Not as spicy as I expected... The choices are limitless.

The Indian hotel restaurants offer dishes tailored to western palates, not too spicy and with plenty of food to satisfy hunger.

Vegetarian Thali

Meat, vegetarian or vegan, they have it all. 

As we travel north, the meat-based menu items become scarce and the vegetarian/vegan dishes become plentiful. We even came across one hotel that served only vegan meals.

Masala tea is sweet, inexpensive and available roadside
